Team Fastrack/BDC is a group of cyclists from the Santa Barbara area who are targeting a number of local and regional races this year. Made up of 35 members, Team Fastrack/BDC has been training throughout the early season and already has had success in time trialing events such as the Piru series. Regional road racing begins in late January with Team Fastrack/BDC fielding a number of riders. Be sure to watch for the team in red at upcoming events!

The team is led by Dave Lettieri who, since 1976, has been passionately involved in both the sport and business of bicycling. He has an insider's appreciation of the needs and concerns of cycling enthusiasts, having personally competed in over 1,000 races. Earning a Pan-Am Gold medal and eight National Gold Medals, he was named to three World championship teams, the Goodwill Games, and the 1988 Olympic Team Pursuit Team.

From 1992-96, Dave managed the elite Chevrolet-L.A. Sheriff professional team that won prestigious cycling events, from Professional National road and track championships to the team competition of the Tour DuPont.
