Few companies had a Scanimate and Dolphin had the one in NYC. We were synching 4 IVC 2&#8243; 9000s and laying off to an Ampex Quad or Hitachi one inch.  Dolphin could not compete once ADO and the Quantel Paintbox became prevalent. I moved on at the time but honestly, I tired of working in a submarine setting, both at MTI and in Boston. So became a realtor, windsurfer and motorcycle racer and moved out west.
